RESULTS: Expression levels of inflammatory mediators, including IL-12p40, MIP-1β, PDGF-BB and IL-1Ra in keloid tissues differed significantly from normal skin samples. Keloid tissue treated with hyperbaric oxygen had lower expression levels of IL-12p40, MIP-1β and PDGF-BB. Methods: Inflammatory factors in keloid tissues were measured using the MILLIPLEX multix luminex system. Hematoxylin and eosinic staining showed significantly higher inflammatory infiltration in keloidal tissue.
