Our data suggest that tanning treatment has reduced

Our data suggest that tanning treatment has reduced macrophage levels, cholesterola accumulation and the development of atherosclerotic plaque in apolipoprotein E deficient mice. In this study, we attempted to investigate the possible effects of tanning on fat accumulation in macrophage foam cells and the underlying molecular mechanisms. Tanshinone IIA suppresses the accumulation of cholesterol in human macrophages. Tanshinone IIA suppresses cholesterola accumulation in human macrophages: role of heme oxygenase 1. Phosphorylation induced by Tan treatment and Nrf2 nuclear translocation and increased HO-1 expression, and these effects were eliminated by specific ERK PD98059 and U0126 inhibitors. Before performing any natural, integrative or conventional treatment, it is recommended to consult an authorized physician. By providing the information in this document, we do not diagnose, treat, cure, alleviate or prevent any disease or medical condition. The accumulation of foam cells in the neointima is an important event in atherosclerosis. Our recent results show that a new HO-1-dependent mechanism is involved in regulating Tan cholesterol levels.
