As Reiki practitioners, we have the amazing ability to see the world from a higher perspective, a soul perspective that transcends and transforms the human dramas and events viewed through a human lens. When we embark on our first spiritual journey, our view of the world is colored and shaped by the human gaze, laden with baggage of personal history, emotions, belief systems, values, attitudes and prejudices. As we grow in Reiki and begin to see the world through the eyes of Reiki, we realize that the presence of Reiki in our lives has sharpened the lens of the soul and that Reiki is the lens of the soul. Her loving energy softens the whole process and gives us the courage to see the world through the lens of Reiki, the lens of the soul. Kathleen is also a certified past life soul regression therapist and uses Reiki in “her” work with “her” clients’ past lives. From this panoramic height, seen through the lens of the soul, we can understand and appreciate the deeper meanings and lessons inherent in our human and daily lives. One of Reiki’s greatest gifts in this regard is their ability to change our perspective, to change the lens through which we view the world. When Reiki finds its way to us and enters our lives, it opens a different path and provides a rare and precious opportunity for spiritual growth and awakening. The Reiki path becomes the path for some, including me, because it illuminates the path, informs and guides the journey with its loving energy. Reiki gives us the ability to bring more light into the world, directing the energy to serve others and ourselves by being in direct connection with Spirit. Kathleen was a co-facilitator and speaker at the Spring 2018 Reiki Rays Summit, and also spoke at the Winter 2018 and Spring 2019 summits. However, many practitioners see the Reiki path as a way forward, a reliable tool for spiritual development.
