Literate New Year – I will practice hospitality in a world

I will practice hospitality in a world where people are too often afraid of strangers, hate enemies and avoid “others”. I will promote the well-being of the planet by practicing little good deeds, little words of encouragement and various courtesies. New Year’s resolutions are based on spiritual practices of the alphabet of spiritual literacy. I will pay attention to how my life is closely connected to all life on this planet. I will work in a free and fair world. I will be grateful for all the blessings of my life. I will welcome foreign visitors and ideas with grace. I will explain my days in grammar of gratitude. I will cultivate the art of communication. I will strive for freedom and justice for all. I will not become obsessed with the past or worry about the future. I will live in the present moment.
